The Neon pendant lamps were first designed in 2023 for the renovated building of the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles in Paris, for which we have designed the new reception furniture. To echo the new identity of the site, the project was based on raw materials and finishes generally employed in the building industry.

In this context we have imagined a lighting collection built on cable trays, originally employed to arrange electrical cables in buildings. Diverted from their original purpose, they are used as a raw material for their aesthetic and technical qualities. Pieces made of laser-cut and bent aluminium sheets allow to join the cable tray with the neon tube and the electrical components. The pendant lamps are declined in several lengths, determined by the existing neon tube sizes to which are adapted the cable trays. The use of a standard component as starting point of the project allows to reach a serial production, handled by ourselves.
